Meetings: prepare a sales meeting, learn from the debrief

In short

Before a sales meeting, Aly reads the prospect's website and your notes, and prepares a one-page brief with your real proof points. After it, a one-minute debrief teaches her what convinces and what blocks, and your marketing uses it.

What it does

  • The brief: who they are, what they probably need, what stands out on their site, why you (each argument tied to an approved proof point), the questions to ask in order, the likely objections and their answer in your voice, the next step to propose, the follow-up email, what to bring.
  • Four kinds: first meeting, quote presentation, follow-up, renewal.
  • The debrief: outcome (won, pending, lost, no-show), the objections heard, what they liked, your notes.
  • What Aly keeps: three lessons, a note for the marketing plan, content to create ("Add to plan"), and proposals for your context, to approve.
  • The last debriefs enter Aly's context: plans, drafts and answers take into account what your customers really object to.

How to use it

  1. 1

    Open Meetings

In the Sales section of the menu (shown for businesses that sell through meetings; adjustable in the business profile). Say who you're meeting, their website if you have it, what you know, the kind and the date.

  2. 2

    Read the brief

Ready in 30 seconds. "Copy the brief" to take it with you; tick what to bring.

  3. 3

    After the meeting, one minute

The dashboard reminds you. Outcome, objections, what they liked, then "Save and learn".

  4. 4

    Approve what Aly proposes

Content goes into the plan in one click; proposals for your context are approved on Context and voice.

Tips

  • The more your context is approved (proof points, offers, audiences), the sharper the brief: Aly never invents a proof.
  • Two lines of notes (how they found you, what they asked for) beat none.
  • The objections counted over your last meetings say which content to create first.

Frequently asked questions

Does Aly read the prospect's website?

Yes, public pages only, like a visitor, at most 20 times a day per account. Without a website, the brief is built from your notes and your context.

Where does this information go?

In your workspace, with your other data, in Canada. It is deleted with the meeting or with your account, and never serves another business.

Can I paste notes from a note-taker?

In the debrief's Notes field, yes, summarized. A field to paste a full transcript (Teams, Google Meet, Otter, Fireflies…) that Aly reads herself is coming soon.
